Meet Our Chester Specialty Dentists

Dr. Nick Yesbeck

Our in-house periodontist, Dr. Nicholas Yesbeck is a lifelong Richmonder. He grew up in Midlothian and attended Virginia Commonwealth University for 11 years, where he received his undergraduate degree, DDS degree, and specialty certificate in periodontics with a Master of Science in Dentistry. His training was concentrated on treating periodontal disease, gum grafting, bone grafting, dental implants, and moderate sedation.

He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society. He also gives back to the community through local Mission of Mercy projects in Virginia.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying active outdoors.

Dr. Bilal Khan

Bilal Khan, BDS, CAGS Endodontics, brings a wealth of experience and advanced training to our practice. Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, he completed dental school at Dow University of Health Sciences and furthered his expertise with an AEGD program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He then pursued advanced endodontic training at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Khan is dedicated to providing efficient, high-quality endodontic care with a focus on patient comfort and collaboration. His warm approach ensures patients feel at ease and fully informed throughout their treatment. His skills include surgical and non-surgical root canal treatments, molar and non-molar root canals, retreatments, and apicoectomies. Dr. Khan is passionate about alleviating his patients’ pain and saving their teeth.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Khan enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, and family game nights with his wife and daughter. He has a keen interest in music, shoes, and watches, appreciating the craftsmanship of quality timepieces.

Dr. Grant Tippet

Dr. Grant Tippet, DDS, brings extensive expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery to our practice. A native of League City, Texas, he completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Following dental school, Dr. Tippet pursued advanced training through a prestigious Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Tippet specializes in third molar extractions, dental implants (including immediate and full arch), IV sedation, TMJ surgery, and orthognathic surgery. His passion lies in addressing complex cases, particularly those involving dentofacial deformities and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), where his comprehensive skill set truly shines.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tippet enjoys family life with his wife, Kiersten, and their two young sons, Nolan and Everett.
